Utility Warehouse Distributor -
Wes Linden - refereeing your own life
Wes Linden is a football referee with twin ambitions
- to officiate in the Premiership and to work smart for more money than most
people can dream of. He's already achieved the second and is well on the way to
achieving the first. He's officiated in the FA Cup and refereed a televised
game where he had to send off two players within four seconds of the second
half kicking off!
He's only been a referee for three years but has
already been promoted several times - he puts this down to the huge amount of
free time and the considerable residual income The Utility Warehouse (Telecom
plus) provides. [read other profiles of

Wes Linden is a young man in a hurry, who
believes that life is worth living and to be grabbed in great big chunks. He's
only 26 and has already achieved more than most people achieve in a lifetime.
He's currently within the top 5% ofThe Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus)
earners - but his sights are always set higher.
His business philosophy
is simple. "Find something you like doing and do it really well because then
your enthusiasm will motivate others, who in turn, help you to achieve more,
whilst they are achieving more themselves. It's a Win-Win philosophy. Think of
all the essential services you have to buy. Now think of how much you could
save if you and thousands of others could put your purchasing power together to
negotiate a better deal! That's precisely what The Utility Warehouse (Telecom
plus) does but they've added a new twist to an old idea - based on the
power of numbers. Using new technology, The Utility Warehouse (Telecom
plus) gathers people like you and me, with little or no individual
buying power, into one powerful trading block, (trading as the Utility
Warehouse Discount Club) to negotiate great new deals in all of the important
service areas.
The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) champions
members' interests by saving thousands on an extensive range of utility
services, which include mobile phone, fixed line telephony, gas, electricity,
internet and freephone services - all on one itemised bill, ensuring members no
longer need to constantly monitor and change suppliers to secure the best value
for money in a whole series of rapidly changing service markets
Wes
Linden believes The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) offers more than
just money. "I was going to become a school teacher. I love teaching, and part
of my work with The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) is helping others
achieve their personal goals. I enjoy sharing my excitement about saving money
and making money with others - and then helping them to do the same. The
rewards both financially and in terms of personal growth are
phenomenal.
"I get a great buzz from saving a personal customer money,
and then showing them how they can make some extra money by becoming a
Distributor. This is something that attracts everyone in today's unstable
economic climate. I really enjoy watching new Distributors develop and become a
Leader in their own right as they take control of their future.
Wes
continued: "It's not long before many of my customers realise that the savings
they're enjoying are savings that everybody would want and that by helping
others they could be helping themselves to a constantly growing income by
becoming a The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) Distributor.
Best
news of all? It only costs £199.75 to become an Independent The Utility
Warehouse (Telecom plus) Distributor, which includes attendance at the
company's nationwide training programme, 'The College of Excellence'. The
support structure that The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) provides is
phenomenal - this in-depth training programme is run by the most successful
Leaders within the Telecom plus network, and ensures that new Distributors can
get started quickly, learning what to do, and what not to do, so they can
successfully 'earn whilst they learn'. We all work together to ensure our
mutual success and this builds lasting friendships.
We also have more
than 30 venues across the UK running monthly Career Opportunity Presentations,
again hosted by the top Leaders within the company, enabling our Distributors
to take their prospects to a professionally run business presentation. I host
the London venue which often attracts over 200 people, and which I thoroughly
enjoy.
Wes is clearly delighted that he invested in the The Utility
Warehouse (Telecom plus) opportunity. "I've always been interested in
making money. I went to The John Lyon School in Harrow, got myself suspended
and eventually became Deputy Head Boy - which was a first for the school! I
achieved 6 GCSEs and two A-levels. I captained my local football team, but
developed a serious weight problem, which had accelerated to 17 stone by the
time I was 20. Network-marketing taught me that I could achieve whatever I
wanted to by simply believing in myself and by setting goals. I lost five stone
in two years and by the time I was 22 I was fit enough to referee football
matches.
"I never did fit into most folk's idea of an ordinary life
because I had decided by the time I was 19 that working for somebody else was
not the way to achieve the sort of lifestyle I wanted. I spent 18 months
studying English at Brunel University, before opting to convert my degree to a
teaching degree. I spent a term as a teaching assistant in a junior school but
in September '98 when I was all set to become a teacher, I realised the true
potential of The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) and quit
University.
"I originally saw the business as a great way to earn an
extra £200 a month and once I'd hit this target, I realised that with
some additional effort I could get a lot more. Then, instead of spending my
whole life working so that one day I could give up working, I could work for
between five and seven years and then have the option of stopping work
altogether.
"New Distributors," he told me, "earn generous customer
gathering bonuses and receive a residual income based not only on their own
customers, but also on the customers gathered by their
team.
Additionally, once they've gathered 200 customers, Distributors
are rewarded with the use of a Porsche Boxster for a month from the company
fleet - the Porsche is great fun to drive believe me! I now drive a brand new
MINI, which is also part of the The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus)
Distributor incentive package - and because of my activity it actually costs me
nothing!
Other benefits include free holidays and free share options in
the company; I've been on 2 luxury Caribbean cruises and have been rewarded
with over 25,000 free share options.
Having rid himself of his student
debts, Wes bought a 3 bedroom apartment in Northwood, Middlesex in 2002 and
thanks to his The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) income he is
currently on his way to achieving his goal of owning ten properties by the time
he is 30.
He goes to the gym twice a week and regularly meets friends
for lunch - a particularly effective recruitment technique since they always
wonder why they only have an hour's break, whilst Wes can spend all afternoon
enjoying a leisurely lunch. He also enjoys clothes shopping, relaxing in front
of the TV and going abroad, "I try to get away every 2 months, for a week or
two in order to see another part of the world. This may sound like a fantasy
lifestyle but the great thing with The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus)
is that once you have the foundations in place you become unimportant to the
creation of an increasing income, no matter what you are doing, you are still
earning money every time someone switches on a light, boils a kettle, sends a
text message, makes a phone call or logs on to the internet!"
The
Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) has a highly successful,
industry-experienced Management Team and a Customer Service Department which is
so effective that it answers 98% of calls received within 15 seconds which
keeps the rapidly increasing customer base happy! Whilst Distributors work from
home, the company operates from a single, state of the art Head Office complex
in London, and because all of the key departments are based centrally costs are
kept to a minimum, meaning that The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) can
keep savings high for their customers and earnings high for their Distributors,
all of which keeps the Shareholders happy!
"The Utility Warehouse
(Telecom plus) succeeds because Distributors are able to offer low cost
services which every adult and household in the UK needs, so growth is
continuous. Offering an average customer savings of over £400 per year is
a tremendous service because everybody wants to save money.
The Utility
Warehouse (Telecom plus) has grown impressively, capturing nearly 1% of
the UK utility marketplace, but this statistic shows you that the potential for
future growth is absolutely enormous. Plus the well-publicised economic
concerns and the ever-worsening pension crisis, means the vast majority of
people would like less debt, less stress, more financial security and more time
spent doing what they want to do rather than spent running in the rat
race.
Different people want different things; whether it's an extra
£200 per month to cover those little extras; £500 per month to pay
the mortgage or £1000 - £10,000 per month to live the life they've
always dreamed of. The Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus) can help people
achieve whichever financial goals they've set for themselves, and I'm delighted
to be one of them.
Everyday I reflect on how grateful I am for the
lifestyle, free time and income which The Utility Warehouse (Telecom
plus) has helped me create. I already earn several times more than I
would have done had I gone on to become a teacher and this is an income that
will grow every single month, whether I do anything or not.
