David Cameron and Boris Johnson visit UW NHQ

We had even more excitement than usual this morning at NHQ, with Prime Minister David Cameron and Mayor of London Boris Johnson paying a visit!

Accompanied by dozens of reporters and cameramen from all the major newspapers and TV channels, David and Boris spoke at length to staff and held a lively Q&A session.

Held just two days before the country goes to the polls, and televised live on Sky News, Mr Cameron paid tribute to Utility Warehouse, which he hailed as a great British success story. He said:

“Five years ago you employed four hundred people, today you employ eight hundred people. That’s massive progress, it’s an investment in our country, in the creation of jobs, and I want to thank you for what you’ve done”.

Boris Johnson also heaped praise on Utility Warehouse for being at the “cutting edge” of British industry.

Coming at such a crucial time in the election campaign, the visit by two of the best known politicians in the country is a huge endorsement for Utility Warehouse – and the business we are building together.

Please feel free to share this massive endorsement for our business on Facebook and other social media with your family, friends and anyone who has ever questioned your decision to become a Partner.
