It's so important to have
multiple streams of income!
 When Mark left school at 16
with no qualifications, he began work as a building site labourer, and also
spent some time as a factory worker. He managed to save up to buy his own
property and made a quick profit from this and so began to buy others houses to
rent out. It was at this stage he found the Telecom plus (Utility
Warehouse) opportunity.
“At first, I just wanted to find cheaper
services for myself and was amazed to find that Telecom plus offered a
Discount Club via the Utility Warehouse, that offered all the household
services on one convenient bill. Then I found out they had an income
opportunity too, and thought I might as well get all my rental properties on
the services and make some money from this!”
Without really going out of
my way, I was signing up customers and distributors
Mark found that things grew from there,
“Without really going out of my way, I was signing up customers and
distributors. I'd just mention the cheaper services on one bill and people
would be interested, as indeed they would when I shared that there was a way to
make extra income too. I now have a monthly income that grows each month from
Telecom plus.”
So as Mark continues to build his property
portfolio and his Telecom plus business in his spare time, he has that
extra security now that residual income can offer, “I love snowboarding
and other extreme sports, and I've spent time in Africa and Asia over the last
couple of years. I don't need to work on the building sites anymore, and having
my Telecom plus / Utility Warehouse income is just an extra security
blanket for me. It's so important to have multiple streams of
income.”
Mark has two small children, works in property development
and spends 15 hours-a-week concentrating on his Telecom plus business.
As a trainer, he leads by example, emphasising the need to attend any training
sessions and seminars that are available. He stresses the fact that while the
opportunity will work if you are prepared to work with it, success is not
automatic. "What's needed is to maintain a consistent approach, working hard
and doing what you must, when you need to do it. If I can do it you can do it
too!"
