plus PLC (trading as the Utility Warehouse since 2002) has been
sucessfully expanding a network marketing business in the UK since 1997. The
Company has always maintained a strong balance sheet, no debt and consistent
profits. Telecom plus PLC has been listed on the London Stock exchange
since 2000, was promoted to the FTSE 250 in December 2008 and was named
'Company of the Year' at the PLC Awards in 2009.
Telecom plus
PLC is regulated by Ofcom, fully licensed by Ofgem and through the Utility
Warehouse, provides their customers with substantial savings on a wide range of
essential services, including fixed-line telephone, internet phone, mobile
phone / tariff options, broadband, gas, electricity, CashBack card and
non-geographic numbers. The Company supplies in excess of one million services
to over 300,000 customers (households and small business).
Telecom
plus PLC employs over 450 staff and has a distribution channel of over
35,000 Independent Utility Warehouse Distributors. The Company's most recent
accounts (31st March 2010) reported revenue up 33% to £369.1m, pre-tax
profits of £18.2m, dividend up 25% to 22p and distributor commission
payments of £13m!
