A remarkable story

“They will either carry me off the course or I’m going to cross the finish line!” If a man, registered legally blind, can swim 2.4 miles, then cycle 112 miles, then run an exhausting 26.2 miles – a race totalling 140 miles and all inside 17 hours, then what could you and I achieve?

And what of Rick and Dick Hoyt? Whilst their story is a profound example of determination and of love without limitation, the message is simple: “Yes you can. You can do anything as long as you make up your mind to do it.” Without doubt, this is one of the most inspiring videos that I have ever watched. A truly remarkable story and one that seems to emotionally impact everyone who watches it.

I’ve seen this video a few times and the story was featured again on TV a few days ago. It kinda takes the excuses away and puts life in a whole different perspective. Showed it to my daughter who has everything in the world yet complains all the time and it put a tear in her eye (as it did for me). I can’t run a mile, let alone what this chap does! Thanks for including in your blog. Utility Warehouse looks interesting too. Do folk really make money in network marketing these days? I had a failed run with Amway about 20 years ago.

Thanks for the comment Wayne and of course, I 100% agree about this video. It’s a little bit of ‘a check up from the neck up’. In answer to your question (do people make money in network marketing?), then the answer is yes and in ever growing numbers and on that score, the Utility Warehouse has to be one of the most succesful network marketing businesses ever for it’s ability to generate income. I and thousands of other Distributors can vouch for that. Interestingly, I too was involved with the Amway business around 20 years ago and what an experience that was!
