Do you know anyone who you think would benefit from being a customer of the Utility Warehouse Discount Club? The Utility Warehouse offers a unique Share and Save plan that allows their customers to earn an extra discount on their monthly bill by introducing friends, family or colleagues to the company! There is no limit to the size of a customers potential discount. Simply introduce a friend to the Utility Warehouse and they will give the introducing customer a discount on their bill, every month, for as long as they remain a customer. The discount is 0.5% for each service they take – so if an existing customers friends take BroadCall (phone and broadband), Gas and Electricity, that’s 2% off. Five friends like that, and that’s a 10% monthly discount!
For people who enjoy saving money, then the Utility Warehouse Share and Save plan is excellent. It gives customers the opportunity to make even greater savings on their monthly bill simply by telling their friends about the Utility Warehouse. Whenever someone recommended joins the Club, the Utility Warehouse will give the referring customer an extra discount on their bill – every month – for as long as they remain a customer. The move services they take, the bigger the discount earned!

I like the sound of this. I’ve been looking at the cashback card aswell. I spend a lot on fuel and already shop at Sainsbury’s and can see some significant cash benefits to this + I can recommend it to all my taxi driver buddies and earn some discount on top. Is there any limit to the number of other people I can tell about this?
Simon – you are quite right, if you shop at Sainsbury’s and meet their criteria, there are CashBack benefits on fuel and given the current price at the pumps, this discount can make a significant difference. You will need to be a member of the Utility Warehouse Discount Club and you will need to sign-up for a CashBack card. Then it’s simply a matter of referring yourr friends, family and professional contacts via the ‘Share & Save Plan’ and for each one that becomes a customer, you will receive an extra discount on your monthly Utility Warehouse bill. And to answer your question – there is no limit to the number of customers you can refer, although you should also consider the benefits of being a Utility Warehouse Distributor. I’ve been a customer of the Utility Warehouse for a few years and have been really happy with everything about them. I have all the services (I think) and especially like my cashback card and the customer discount scheme. So far, I’ve recommended seven other customers and I think I’m now getting about 15% discount on what was already a good bill. Good savings in tough times!

Just thought I’d add my 10 pence worth. I’ve been with you guys as a customer for five years. I started with a mobile phone and have since taken all the services, including the cashback deal. I like the one-bill system and have always felt pleased with the customer services department. I picked up on the discount thing last year and have since referred three other customers. It was easy. I showed them my bill, explained the cashback and told them to ring the company on the 0800 number and now I’m seeing an extra discount on my monthly bill – yes yes yes! This is the icing on the cake. Very happy and 100% a Utility Warehouse convert. What are you going to launch next?
